Authorities were alerted to “a truck with a makeshift trailer” that was “ losing chickens ,” according to a Sept. 23 Facebook post from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The chickens were dropped over a one-mile stretch of Interstate 44 outside of Tulsa, authorities said.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers recently helped a group of lost chickens cross the road after they got loose on Interstate 44 near Tulsa.
