Abu Dhabi-based technology company MGX, BlackRock, Microsoft and Global Infrastructure Partners have launched an artificial intelligence infrastructure investment partnership that aims to mobilise up to $100 billion in investments to enhance the future of AI.

MGX said the investments, which seek to fuel AI innovation and economic growth, will be chiefly in the US and the remainder in partner countries.

The group aims to assemble $30 billion of initial capital, with a future goal of raising $100 billion, including from debt financing.
